SUE WIGHTON for a twilight musical treat.
SUE WIGHTON is a solo singer/guitarist and song writer whose strong, heartfelt vocal style has taken her easily from folk to jazz and back again. Her repertoire is a mix of originals and folk, both traditional and modern, but always with a story to tell. Sue’s original songs spring from historical events and also tell stories from her own life.
On stage, Sue’s unique blend of wit and warmth, delivered with humour, style and vocal beauty captures the hearts and minds of her audience.
Sue recently launched a book of her essays titled ‘Accidental Writer’ in 2020. An erstwhile weekly columnist for Brisbane’s Courier Mail, she now occasionally contributes to The Bribie Islander.
Be prepared for a feast of unique musical offerings, with a serve of irreverent wit.
