The Bribie Island Watercolour Working Together Group comprises a small group of people who have a passion for painting in watercolour.

 

Watercolour is a versatile medium with many varied effects possible, from bright, vibrant modern designs to traditional landscape, seascape, floral and bird paintings. Each session has an optional theme, with some demos and informal tuition in basic techniques provided.

 

We also try experimental and new techniques, sometimes using textures to create different effects or combining other media such as ink, gouache and pastel with watercolour.

 

Our members have varying levels of expertise; some are experienced watercolour painters, others have used different painting mediums and are now trying watercolour, and others are new to this exciting, challenging and portable medium.

 

We welcome all to come along, see what we do and, if interested, to join our group for a relaxing and stress-free morning painting with watercolours.
